How do I renew my membership online?
To renew your membership online, select the plan type you wish to renew and follow the steps of the purchase process.
If you wish to enroll in the auto-renewal program, select the check box “I would like to automatically renew my membership for successive one year terms” on the payment page. This will ensure uninterrupted service, and you can cancel the auto-renewal at any time by contacting our call center at 1-888-727-7478 (1-888-7ASSIST).
Can I make changes to my plan (e.g. change phone number, update email address, add vehicles) when I renew online?
Yes. When you renew online you will be prompted to enter your contact information and plan details so all information can be confirmed and updated.
If my plan expires, can I still receive service?
If you renew within 30 days after your plan expires it will be re-activated immediately, and the Service will be available should you need assistance.

Can I renew if my membership has lapsed / expired?
Yes, you can renew at any time, regardless of when you last had a plan with us. Your entitlement to the Services will begin twenty-four (24) hours after activation.
To avoid your plan expiring and to ensure uninterrupted service, we encourage you to enroll in the auto-renewal program by selecting the check box “I would like to automatically renew my membership for successive one year terms” on the Payment page when you purchase online or by contacting our call center at 1-888-727-7478 (1-888-7ASSIST).
If I renew before expiry will I lose the time remaining on my current term?
Once you renew, your current membership will extend by an additional 12 months from the expiry date.
How long does the welcome package take to arrive?
Your Canadian Tire Roadside Assistance® Welcome Package will be mailed to you within 3-4 weeks from the renewal date. If you require roadside assistance during this time a representative can confirm the status of your plan when you call in for service. You may be requested to show ID on the scene.
